A product launch poster on black, where the light form is built from the product's own edges — so the picture has a thing in it rather than an atmosphere. Five fields.


Two runs of the same template. Three streaks, and each continues exactly the edge the field named - the graduated arc's outer curve, the axis of the telescope barrel, the straight line of the index arm. The arc's streak even curves, because the edge it continues curves. Nothing mirrors, the instrument is turned, and the outer third of the sheet stays black. Both runs make the same point: give the light an edge to come from and it stops being a preset.
There is a chip in it, which the reference run of this style could not manage - that run returned a symmetrical light X on black with a wordmark over it and no object of any kind. All four streaks here continue real edges of the package, and the lower one comes out gold because it leaves the gold contact side, which is the rule working harder than it was asked to. One divergence: the field said a third of the frame height and the package fills nearer half.

Produce ONE image, 2:3 portrait: a product launch poster on near-black. Follow every line. Replace only the FIELDS block; everything after it is fixed.
First — do you have the fields?
If any field below still has braces around it, stop and ask. Put all the questions in one short message, and show the example under each one so they can see the shape of a useful answer. Wait for the replies, then draw. Never fill a brace yourself: a value you invented is a value nobody asked for, and it will look exactly as considered as the ones they did give you.
Ask in whatever language they are writing to you in. Translate the questions and the examples; do not make someone read English to tell you what they want.

The subject law
The product is in the picture. This sounds too obvious to state, and it is the single thing this style loses.
A reference run of this style was asked for a chip launch poster. It returned a superb symmetrical light X on black with a wordmark across it — no chip, no device, no object of any kind. Every element was atmosphere. The poster would have worked identically for a bank, a festival or a car, because nothing in it was the thing.
The product occupies the share of the frame the fields give, it is physically described, and it is the largest and sharpest thing on the sheet.
Test: if swapping the name in the type would make it a poster for something else, there is no product in it.
The streak law
The light form is caused by the object, not laid over it.
- Every streak continues the line of an actual edge of the product, extended outward.
- The number of streaks equals the number of edges the fields name.
- Each is brightest where it leaves the object and fades to nothing before the frame edge.
- Their angles are measurable against the silhouette: lay a ruler along a streak and it should run into the edge it came from.
No streak exists that does not start at an edge. No generic X, no crossing diagonals, no lens flares, no radial bursts.
Asymmetry
Nothing mirrors. The object is turned, so:
- Streaks on one side are longer than on the other.
- One side of the object is brighter than the other.
- The light form is lopsided, and that lopsidedness matches the turn.
Perfect left-right symmetry is the signature of an effect applied rather than a scene lit.
Lighting
- One key from behind and above, rimming the top and far edges.
- One fill from the front, very low, so the near face is barely visible rather than black.
- Nothing lit that faces away from a light. Every highlight traces to the key, the fill or a streak.
- Contact and occlusion are real: where the object overlaps a streak, it blocks it.
Dark
The outer third of the sheet stays near-black, with no glow reaching it. Falloff is fast. The dark is what makes the object read as lit.
Type
- One family, two weights, letterspaced wide, in white or the palette's lightest tone.
- The product name over or beside the object, largest.
- Two supporting lines at top and foot, small.
- Only the words the fields supply. No invented specs, model numbers, taglines or company names.
- Type never crosses the product's silhouette.
Never
- ✕ a poster with no product in it
- ✕ a streak that does not continue a real edge
- ✕ a generic X, crossing diagonals, flares or radial bursts
- ✕ perfect left-right or top-bottom symmetry
- ✕ a highlight with no light source behind it
- ✕ glow reaching the outer third of the sheet

- ✕ invented specifications, model numbers or company names
- ✕ a product described only by category rather than physically

A poster that could only be for this thing: the object present, sharp and central, and every line of light in the picture running back to an edge of it.

Before it runs
- An actual product to show, described physically. 'A chip' renders as a glowing square; 'a square package with gold contact pads and a matt ceramic lid' renders as a chip.
- Edges worth extending. The streak geometry comes from the object's silhouette, so a featureless blob gives you nothing to build the light from.
- Restraint with the words. Every line you add competes with the one thing the poster exists to show.
