We made two examples: a crayon cover for a vibe library, and for a nature reserve two children lifting a stone in a stream. Both have the same waxy pressure and the same childlike hand, each with its own reason to be drawn that way.
The title bounces across the top in fat, furry letters, each fading from warm orange down to deep plum, with a small grey line beneath and the scene laid out on flat cream. The per-letter fade, the wobble and the pale violet shadow hold every time. A two-word title wraps onto two lines and takes more room, so use one word if you want it compact. Small objects in the scene can come out softer than you expect.

Before it runs
- A short title. Three or four words is the ceiling — this letterform is fat, and the top three-fifths is all it gets.
- A scene described as a scene, not a mood. Who is doing what, with what beside them, in which colours.
- Tolerance for wobble. Ask for precision and the whole world collapses into a stock template.
When to reach for it
When something made by hand needs a cover that admits it — a workshop's zine, a kid's book, a maker's portfolio. The wobble is the point: nothing here should look like it came out of a grid.
