We made two examples: in the first, one continuous cut crosses each whole word; in the second, every letter gets its own vertical slot a third of the way in from its left edge, with the same width and the same drop. The second is clearly systematic but harder to read: SALT holds up, LINE barely does. That is the trade-off the skill names, seen from both sides. If you want the letter-by-letter version, shorten the offset before you loosen the rule.
You get a huge two-ink type poster where every letter gets the same transformation, at a constant angle and offset, so the headline still reads. Even when you ask for a cut in every character, you may get a single cut across the whole word instead. If you need it letter by letter, say so explicitly or generate again.

How to use it

Before it runs
- A short headline. The operation has to be visible in every character, and twelve characters at poster size leaves no room for it to show.
- An operation you can state in one sentence with a number in it. 'Distorted' produces randomness; 'slide the upper half right by one stroke-width' produces a design.
- A face heavy enough to survive being cut. Light letterforms fall apart into unreadable fragments.
