Four Cards, One Person

One person sits in a bare studio while four frosted-glass cards hover around them — intro, skills, contact, link — with their title set enormous behind their shoulders. Six fields.

Stonemason

Two runs of the same template. A designer's four cards beside a stonemason's — apron, mallet and three chisels at her feet, moss green in place of indigo, and the same four cards carrying a trade that predates the other by centuries.

Generated from this template with the fields shown above — the figure sits low and overlaps the two-line title, all four glass cards land in their corners with matching corners and edges, and the single indigo appears exactly twice: the button and the highlighted skill with its filled star. Run-to-run quirks: the contact capsule can drift far enough left to clip the figure, and card tilt varies. The empty grey room, the type-behind-shoulders layering and the one-accent rule hold every time.

Four Cards, One Person

Produce ONE image: a person in an empty studio with four frosted cards hovering around them. Follow every line below. Replace only the FIELDS block; everything after it is fixed.

First — do you have the fields?

If any field below still has braces around it, stop and ask. Put all the questions in one short message, and show the example under each one so they can see the shape of a useful answer. Wait for the replies, then draw. Never fill a brace yourself: a value you invented is a value nobody asked for, and it will look exactly as considered as the ones they did give you.

Ask in whatever language they are writing to you in. Translate the questions and the examples; do not make someone read English to tell you what they want.

The examples are only examples. If someone answers a question, use their answer; never fall back to the example because you prefer it.

If the fields are already filled in, ignore this and carry on.

Fields — replace these six lines only

  • The person and their props: {what they wear, how they sit, what is at their feet} e.g. a motion designer in a washed indigo work jacket and soft grey trousers, sitting relaxed on a low plywood crate, a drawing tablet propped against it, a small film camera and a stack of pattern cards at their feet
  • The two big words: {a short thin category, then one huge bold identity} e.g. small thin line: MOTION — huge bold line: DESIGNER
  • The intro card: {slogan, a short body, a button label} e.g. slogan: Designs it by describing it — body: builds interface motion with AI, scrubs it like video and ships it like code, and keeps the whole library open so anyone can steal the timing — button: See the library
  • The skills: {a label, four to six entries, and which one is highlighted} e.g. label: Works in — list: interface motion, easing and timing, WebGL scenes, particle systems, AI-assisted prototyping — highlight: easing and timing
  • The contact and link: {what the avatar is, and the link text} e.g. capsule: a play-wedge avatar and a blurred handle — link field: vibary.ai
  • The accent: {one saturated colour} e.g. a single saturated indigo, used only on the button and the highlight

The room

  • Portrait 4:5. A flat, clean, low-saturation studio ground — pale warm grey or pale sand, painted and opaque.
  • Nothing else in the room. No furniture, no window, no backdrop seam, no texture. Every bit of interest is the person and the cards.

The person

  • Centred, sitting low in the frame, in a relaxed seated or leaning pose — never posed square to camera.
  • Photographic and real: real fabric, real skin, soft natural light, a faint air-glow at the edges where they meet the ground.
  • They occupy roughly the middle half of the page.
  • Two or three props from the field, scattered naturally at their feet with small soft shadows — never arranged in a row.

The type

  • Two lines, centred behind the person's shoulders, so the figure overlaps and interrupts them.
  • The upper line small, thin, letterspaced — the category.
  • The lower line enormous and very heavy — the identity. It is the loudest thing on the page.
  • Both pure white, in a plain grotesque. No outline, no shadow, no gradient.

The four cards

All four are frosted translucent glass: 12–24px rounded corners, a hairline white highlight along the edge, and a soft wide shadow, so they read as interface panels floating in a photograph. Place them scattered at the corners, tilted very slightly, never on a grid.

  • Upper left — intro. The slogan in bold at the top, a few lines of small grey body beneath, and one filled button in the accent colour at the base carrying the button label.
  • Upper right — skills. A small black rounded label at the top in white type carrying the field's label. Below it, one row per entry, each with a small star mark. The highlighted entry is written in the accent with a filled accent star.
  • Lower left — contact. A long black capsule: a round avatar at the left, deliberately blurred handle text in the middle, and two small circular call icons at the right end.
  • Lower right — link. A minimal input-field card: a small refresh mark and the link text, small and quiet.

Colour

  • The base is neutral grey. Text is pure black or pure white.
  • Exactly one saturated accent, and it appears only twice: the intro button, and the highlighted skill with its star.
  • No second accent. No gradients anywhere.

Every part must

  • ✓ keep the person real and the cards synthetic — the collision is the design
  • ✓ let the figure overlap the type, not sit beside it
  • ✓ keep all four cards the same glass, the same corner radius, the same edge
  • ✓ leave the ground empty and calm
  • ✓ stay readable: the identity word first, then the cards

Never

  • ✕ a busy background, a room, a gradient, or a photographic backdrop
  • ✕ a fifth card, a logo, a watermark, or any text outside the six fields
  • ✕ two accents, or the accent leaking onto type that is not highlighted
  • ✕ cards squared to a grid, or all at the same tilt
  • ✕ a person facing camera in a formal posed portrait
  • ✕ neon glow, heavy drop shadows, 3D bevels on the glass

The result

One image that introduces a person the way a good profile page would: who they are in two words, what they claim in one card, what they are good at in five rows, and how to reach them — all floating around someone who looks like they were photographed, not posed.

The whole template, in one piece. The steps below are the entire workflow.

How to use it

  1. Copy the whole template with the button above.
  2. Replace the six FIELDS lines. The two big words matter most — a short thin category over one long bold noun is what makes the type work.
  3. Paste it into any image-capable agent or model, in one message. One run returns the poster.
  4. Run it once per teammate with the same accent and the same two-line rule, and the set reads as one company.

Before it runs

  • A person described as a person — what they wear, how they sit, what sits at their feet. A job title alone renders as a stock model.
  • Skills as a real list of four to six, with exactly one worth highlighting. Two highlights is none.
  • One accent colour. The look depends on the room being grey and one thing being loud.

When to reach for it

When a person needs an introduction that works as one image: a profile header, a speaker card, a hiring-page hero. It says what someone does, what they are good at, and how to reach them, without a paragraph.

What changes

  • A finished 4:5 poster: a relaxed, photographic person centred low, on a clean low-saturation studio ground with nothing else in the room.
  • The title lands in two lines of heavy white type set behind their shoulders — a small thin category over an enormous bold identity.
  • Four frosted-glass cards hover at the corners: an intro with a highlighted button, a starred skill list, a black contact capsule, and a minimal link field.
  • One saturated accent — and only one — carries every button and highlight, so the eye knows where to land.
  • Real skin and vintage props collide with glassy interface panels on purpose; the clash is the whole look.
