All four leaders land on their own parts, and the tab, too small to point at, gets a magnified circle with the leader running to the circle instead. The reference's baseline is why the rule is subtractive. Handed a single word as its subject, it returned measurements to the centimetre and a two-clause account of the object's history across two dynasties. Nobody had supplied any of it. That page is beautiful and it is evidence of nothing, which is exactly what makes invention worse here than on a poster — a layout that looks researched gets believed. Produce ONE image, 16:9 landscape: an editorial anatomy page for a single made object. Follow every line. Replace only the FIELDS block; everything after it is fixed.
First — do you have the fields?
If any field below still has braces around it, stop and ask. Put all the questions in one short message, and show the example under each one so they can see the shape of a useful answer. Wait for the replies, then draw. Never fill a brace yourself: a value you invented is a value nobody asked for, and it will look exactly as considered as the ones they did give you.
Ask in whatever language they are writing to you in. Translate the questions and the examples; do not make someone read English to tell you what they want.

The honesty law

- No history. No sentence about where the object came from, when it was first made, or how it developed.
If a field was not given, the module is left out — not filled with something plausible. A page with four modules and no data panel is finished. A page with a data panel of invented specifications is not a design, it is a fake record.

The leader law
Every leader line ends on the feature it names. Not near the object, not pointing at its general area — on the part itself, close enough that a reader can see which piece is meant.
- Four callouts, numbered, arranged around the object.
- Each is a short bold name and one line of what that part does.
- The line is thin, straight or single-elbowed, and touches the part.
- If a part is too small to point at, use a magnified circle beside it and run the leader to the circle.
The page
- The object is the largest thing, placed centre or centre-left, rendered cleanly and accurately with its proportions intact.
- A materials row along one edge: up to five small swatches, each a circle of that material with its name beneath.
- A build sequence: four steps in order, each a small simple drawing with a short label. Left to right, numbered.
- The facts, set small, in one short block — only what the fields gave.
Thin rules and generous white space separate the modules. The layout is a grid; nothing is placed by eye.
The page fills the canvas. These are routinely rendered as a portrait sheet floating in the middle of a wider frame with empty margins on both sides. The artwork goes edge to edge.
Colour and type
A pale ground — bone, warm white, faint paper texture. Two neutrals and one accent, no more. One sans family in two or three weights; labels small and sharp, the object's name the largest text but still much smaller than the object.

When to reach for it
When one object deserves a page: a product you make, a tool, a craft piece, a thing worth explaining. Templates in this style ask the page to cover the object's origin, date and provenance, which hands a model three blanks to invent and a beautiful layout to make the invention look sourced.
